The Yabloko Party University to host a lecture by Andrei Babushkin on the rules of conduct during arrest and search

On 11 April, the Yabloko Party University will host an online lecture “What to do if you are being persecuted by law enforcement agencies”. The lecturer is Andrey Babushkin, human rights activist, Chairman of the Committee for Civil Rights, member of the Bureau of the Yabloko Party, member of the Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights under the President of the Russian Federation. The lecture will begin at 18:00 MSK.
The topics that will be covered are as follows: how to behave if the law enforcement come to one’s home with an official warning or a search, if one is detained without reason of detained during a protest action; what the rules of conduct are when a protocol is drawn up in the Department of Internal Affairs, how to behave in court, in the event of a fine, or an administrative arrest or a criminal case; what threats the new Articles 20.3.3 and 20.3.4 of the Code of Administrative Offenses and Article 280.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation present. Andrei Babushkin will cover these topics and answer questions of the audience.
