The Yabloko party joins the annual action “Mandarins and canned meat” from the Nochlezhka charity organization helping homeless people. On New Year’s Eve Nochlezhka collects the most essential food-stuffs for the homeless people of Moscow and St. Petersburg.

We call on all members of our party, our supporters and all unindifferent people to bring essential food-stuffs and daily goods from the list published by Nochlezhka (below) to our offices by 23 December, 2021. Our representatives will take all the collected goods to Nochlezhka. Before the New Year, volunteers will pack all collected food-stuffs and utensils into gift sets, and on the eve of the holiday they will distribute them to homeless people at the Night Bus parking lots, heating points, the consultation service and at the Nochlezhka shelter.

In Moscow we collect the following:

– 50 boxes of refined sugar

– 50 packs of black tea, 100 sachets each

– 500 packs of “Yubileynoye” type cookies

– 500 packs of mashed potatoes and instant noodles in a hard pack

– 500 cans of stew (preferably with an opener)

– 500 cans of canned fish (preferably with an opener)

– 500 bars of soap: any, including laundry soap

– 500 packs of wet wipes, 20-25 pieces each

– 500 toothbrushes

– 150 packs of sanitary napkins

– 500 pairs of socks, sizes 39-43

– 500 tubes of baby cream

– 500 disposable shaving machines

– 20 rolls of packing bags, 100 bags each

– 500 nail clippers

– 500 flashlights (head and hand)

– 500 pairs of textile and knitted gloves

– 500 tubes of toothpaste

– 500 thermos flasks

In St.Peterburg we collect the following:

– 70 boxes of refined sugar

– 70 packs of black tea, 100 sachets each

– sweets: chocolate and caramel, no restrictions

– 700 packs of “Yubileynoye” type cookies

– 700 packs of mashed potatoes and instant noodles in a hard pack

– 700 cans of stew (preferably with an opener)

– 700 canned fish (preferably with an opener)

– 700 pieces of laundry soap: any, including laundry soap

– 700 packs of wet wipes, 20-25 pieces each

– 700 toothbrushes

– 150 packs of sanitary napkins

– 700 pairs of socks, sizes 39-43

On 24 December, 2021, Yabloko party activists will hand all the collected food-stuffs, utensils and personal hygiene products to Nochlezhka in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Volunteers will pack the gifts and distribute them among homeless people on 26 December.
