Chairman of the Yabloko party Nikolai Rybakov and Deputy Chairman of the party Ivan Bolshakov held the third interregional seminar with regional headquarters in Krasnoyarsk on March 12 – 14. The seminar was attended by heads and employees of Yabloko branches from nine regions: Perm region, Krasnoyarsk region, Maritime Territory, Altai Territory, Tomsk region, Kemerovo region, Vologda region, Saratov region and the Republic of Yakutia. The participants discussed preparations for the elections to the State Duma, the principles and technologies of the election campaign, as well as the coalition policy of Yabloko.

Nikolai Rybakov delivered a lecture for the history students of Astafiyev Krasnoyarsk State University “Russia and the World. Change and our responsibility for the future”. “The interest of young people in politics has been growing every year and this is great,” Rybakov noted.

Also, Yabloko leaders visited the Stolby nature reserve and the museum of the writer Viktor Astafyev in the village Ovsyanka. Together with the writer’s sister, who, according to Viktor Astafyev’s will, became the caretaker of the house-museum, Nikolai Rybakov visited the grave of Viktor Astafyev and laid flowers on it.

Before leaving Krasnoyarsk, the party leaders held a meeting with the head of the Krasnoyarsk Human Rights Centre Memorial Alexei Babiy and discussed the preservation of the memory of the victims of political repression in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
