In Vladivostok, police officers searched the apartment of Marina Zheleznyakova, Deputy Chair of the regional branch of Yabloko in the Maritime Territory.
According to Zheleznyakova, the search was carried out as part of a criminal case on blocking roads during the action on January 23, in which she is a witness. Zheleznyakova noted that at the time of blocking of the roads she was not among the protesters, but in a completely different place.
During the search, seven people entered Zheleznyakova’s apartment – they knocked her husband to the floor and hit him on the head. As a result, the man started bleeding, and a hematoma developed at the place of the blow.
A personal telephone and a work computer were seized from the Deputy Chair of the regional branch of Yabloko. Zheleznyakova noted that the security officials did not leave her any documents on the investigative actions carried out.
It should be noted that on the morning of February 6, the law enforcement conducted a series of searches in Vladivostok and St. Petersburg. According to the human rights project OVD-Info, the searches conducted within the framework of a criminal case (Article 267 of the Criminal Code) on blocking roads during rallies on January 23.
