Work of Yabloko’s election headquarters on 8 September

On the Single Voting Day on 8 September, the Yabloko party’s election headquarters (Moscow, Pyatnitskaya 31 bldg. 2) will launch a hotline that will receive calls from observers at polling stations in 31 regions of Russia. The headquarters will be open for journalists from 3 p.m.
Nikolai Rybakov, head of the election headquarters and Deputy Chairman of the party, will give a briefing for journalists at 4 p.m.
Yabloko leaders will draw up preliminary results of the elections and answer questions from journalists at 10 p.m.

Yabloko candidates take part in election campaigns at different levels in 31 regions of Russia. Four candidates run for deputies of the Moscow City Duma: Yevgeny Bunimovich (electoral district No. 6), Daria Besedina (electoral district No. 8), Maxim Kruglov (electoral district No. 14), Sergei Mitrokhin (electoral district No. 43). Three candidates participate in the by-election of State Duma deputies – Anna Cherepanova (the Novgorod region), Valery Chudo (the Oryol region) and Irina Skachkova (the Sverdlovsk region). Zulfiya Gaysina runs for the post of head of Bashkiria. In St. Petersburg, the party managed to register 421 candidates for municipal elections.
