Grigory Yavlinsky to launch new books at Moscow International Book Fair
Grigory Yavlinsky will launch his new books at Moscow International Book Fair on 8 September. This the politician has two new publications.
In his book “A Way to the Future” Grigory Yavlinsky presents proposals on overcoming the political and economic crisis in Russia, lifting our country out of international isolation and making it one of the leading countries. The book consists of Yavlinsky’s 2018 presidential programme “A Way to the Future”; “The Economic Manifesto” describing the major features of the economic policy of the Russian government; a programme for the provision of gas supply 2019-2021; a strategy for mass housing construction and providing citizens with land “Land. Housing. Roads”; a map of fiscal capacity of Russia’s regions; “Blog 2018: The Future” on the desirable future of Russia; proposals on settling the crisis in relations with Ukraine and the international community.
The book “The Essence” contains a series of political and economic works by Yavlisnky over the period from September 2017 to August 2018. The essays are dedicated to the issues of Russia’s domestic and foreign policy, modern economic problems and the challenges of reforming Russia’s political and economic system which started forming in 1917.
The launching ceremony will start at 14:30 by the main entrance to hall C.
The politician will also participate in the launching ceremony of the books “Three Epochs of Russian Journalism” and “Slaves of KGB. 20th century. The Religion of Betrayal” by Yuri Shchekochikhin (1950-2003), an MP of the second and third convocations of the State Duma. [Yuri Shchekochikhin was a Russian journalist, writer and politician. Shchekochikhin’s colleagues from Yabloko’s faction Vladimir Lukin, Alexei Arbatov and Boris Misnik, Novaya Gazeta publisher Dmitry Muratov, Shchekochikhin’s widow Nadezhda Azhgikhina and his son Konstantin Shcgekochikhin, Children’s Ombudsman in Moscow Evgeny Bunimovich will also participate in the ceremony.
The launching ceremony will take place hall B, the Russian Book Union.
The Moscow International Book Fair will take place on 5-9 September. The books published by Yabloko can be found in hall B, mount No G31.
