We invite journalists to observe counting of votes in the primaries of Yabloko
The voting will end on 29 May at 9 p.m.

Voting in Yabloko’s primaries so that to determine a party the candidate for the post of the Mayor of Moscow from will end on Tuesday, 29 May, at 21:00. The Counting Commission will open the ballot box and begin counting the votes cast for the primaries. The results of voting will be announced immediately after the completion of the count.
Voting at Yabloko’s primaries started on Sunday, 27 May. The polling station is located in the central office of the party in Moscow (Pyatnitskaya 31 bldg 2) and is open from 10:00 to 21:00.
22 categories of citizens can take part in voting. In particular, members of the Moscow branch of the party, elected municipal deputies and candidates for deputies, party donators, members of electoral commissions and election observers, journalists, experts and public opinion leaders – a total of more than 4,000 people. Voters may check whether they are on the electoral list here.
About 750 voters voted on Sunday, 28 May, as of 15:00.
A voter receives a ballot paper at the polling station upon presentation of the passport. The ballot paper contains the names of 21 registered candidates. A voter can vote for three candidates, ranking them from the first to the third. A candidate will receive three points if ranked the first, two points if ranked the second, and one point if ranked the third.
If none of the candidates receive over 50 per cent of the vote, the second round of the primaries will be held from June 1 through to June 3. On the eve of the voting in the second round, on May 31, there will be a debate between the participants.
The winner of the primaries, according to the party’s Charter, will first be approved by the federal Bureau as a candidate for the Mayor of Moscow, and then the conference of the Moscow branch of the party will officially nominate him/her.
