Yavlinsky on the reasons of conflict in Biryulevo: “They don’t want to cure a disease, they want to subdue the fever”
Press Release, October 16, 2013
Such situations can take place in any city of Russia until the government refuses to tell the truth about the enormous income they get from the slave labour of immigrants and corruption and until mass media will describe this conflicts as cross ethnic, said leader of YABLOKO faction in the Legislative Assembly of St.Petersburg Grigory Yavlinsky at the briefing on October 16.
“They don’t want to cure the disease, they want to subdue the fever. This can be done until the patient is alive”, said Grigory Yavlinsky.
He is sure that the problem of illegal immigration can’t be solved by means of the visa regime. According to Yavlinsky, it’s useless to introduce visas in a corrupted system as “the bribes will feed all the visa departments”. “Ordinary citizens will queue for a visa, but gangsters and bandits will have no problems”, stated Yavlinsky.
