A press conference on “YABLOKO’s election campaign: numbers, details, perspectives on the federal and regional level” will take place at the Interfax press centre at 2 1st Tverskaya-Yamskaya Ulitsa on Monday, August 8.

Leaders of the federal list of candidates will participate in the press conference:

Grigory Yavlinsky, Chair of YABLOKO’s Federal Political Committee;

Emilia Slabunova, Chair of the party and deputy of the Karelian Legislative Assembly;

Galina Shirshina, ex-Mayor of Petrozavodsk;

Lev Shlosberg, head of the Pskov branch of YABLOKO;

Dmitry Gudkov, oppositional MP of the State Duma;

Nikolai Rybakov, Deputy Chair of the party;

Alexander Gnezdilov, Deputy Chair of the party;

Alexei Etmanov, leader of the regional group in the Leningrad Region;

Alexander Konashenkov, leader of the Regional Group in the Pskov and Novgorod Regions.

On August 5, the Central Electoral Commission registered the list of candidates from the YABLOKO party to run in the elections to the State Duma of the seventh convocation. There are 305 YABLOKO candidates, who are running in 64 regional groups. There are ten people on the federal list of candidates. In addition, YABLOKO nominated candidates in 175 out of the 225 single-mandate constituencies.
