70 per cent of the audience of the Russian News Service will vote for Sergei Mitrokhin in the Moscow mayoral election
Press Release, July 21, 2013
70 per cent of the listeners of the Russian News Service (RNS) are ready to support YABLOKO leader Sergei Mitrokhin in the Moscow mayoral election on September 8, 2013. Such were the results of a telephone voting launched within the framework of the programme This Is My City where Sergei Mitrokhin was a guest.
This Is My City programme covers Moscow problems. Today’s programme was devoted to the forthcoming Moscow mayoral elections. RNS invited all the candidates for the mayor to participate in the programme but for the acting Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, however, only Sergei Mitrokhin agreed to participate in the programme.
It is not the first time when RNS listeners demonstrate their support to YABLOKO’s candidate. In early June 56 per cent of listeners were ready to support Mitrokhin in the mayoral election in Moscow.
Also Sergei Mitrokhin repeatedly won in the polls at the webs-ties of other large media. Thus, 36 per cent of the Ekho Moskvi audience were willing to vote for Mitrokhin (Alexei Navlany was second with 23 per cent) and 35 per cent of the readers of the Novaya Gazeta web-site also gave their votes to Mitrokhin (Alexei Navalny also was second here with 30 per cent).
