Court to hear administrative case against Nikolai Rybakov

A protocol of violation has been drawn up against Yabloko Chairman Nikolai Rybakov under Article 20.1(1) of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation (“petty hooliganism”). The offence is punishable by a fine of 500 to 1,000 roubles or administrative arrest for up to 15 days.
The protocol was prompted by his vote against all parties at a polling station in St. Petersburg on 20 September. It should be noted that there has been no “against all” box on Russian ballots since 2006.
The administrative case against Nikolai Rybakov will be heard today, 29 September, at the Vyborgsky District Court of St. Petersburg.
