Violations on the third day of voting. Observers detained in St. Petersburg and Kazan, Moscow voters denied paper ballots en masse

On 20 September, three-day voting in the elections to the State Duma of the 9th convocation, regional parliaments and municipal councils in a number of constituent entities of the Russian Federation came to an end.
Throughout the voting period, Yabloko ran a hotline for observers and voters. On the last day, it received reports of observers being detained and subjected to force, commission members being removed from their duties, shortages of paper ballots, ballots being cast in voters’ names, company employees being bussed in to vote, and violations in the storage and counting of ballot papers.
Yabloko representatives logged the appeals and sent complaints to electoral commissions and law enforcement agencies. Read more about the violations on the third day of voting here.
