Update. After 100% of the precinct electoral commission protocols have been processed, Yabloko is receiving 6.38% of the vote; 12,986 voters voted for the party.

After 80.44% of the precinct commissions protocols had been processed, the party was receiving 5.52% of the vote. Earlier, after 27.31% of the protocols had been processed, the result stood at 5.17%. At individual polling stations in Veliky Novgorod, according to protocols obtained by observers, the party is receiving more than 20% of the vote. The count is continuing.

It should be noted that the Novgorod Region is the only one of the eight regions where the list of candidates put forward by Yabloko was admitted to the regional parliament elections and not removed from them. In St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, the party’s lists were not registered, while in Karelia, and in the Kaliningrad, Sverdlovsk, Tomsk and Pskov Regions, they were removed from the elections following claims by other political parties.

At the same time, during the campaign, Anna Cherepanova, leader of Yabloko’s Novgorod list and a deputy of the Veliky Novgorod City Duma, was removed from the elections after being held administratively liable under Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences for “displaying extremist symbols”.

Prior to these elections, Yabloko factions have been working in the legislative assemblies of St. Petersburg, Pskov Region and Karelia.
