On 8 July the Pskov Yabloko Conference nominated 57 candidates for the Pskov Region Legislative Assembly: 44 candidates on the party’s single list and 13 candidates across all single-mandate constituencies. Yabloko candidates are standing in all elections under the slogan “For Peace and Freedom! For a Life Without Fear!”

The region-wide part of the Pskov Yabloko list comprises five people – a farmer, a manager, a Navy captain, a teacher and a doctor:

Alexander Konashenkov, 62, head of the Prometei farming enterprise, president of the “Pskov Farmer” association, a deputy of the Gdov District Assembly of the seventh convocation, and Deputy Chairman of Pskov Yabloko;

Yana Ivanova, 38, manager, head of the office for Pskov Region Legislative Assembly deputy Artur Gaiduk;

Yevgeny Vasilyev, 59, Navy captain first rank (reserve), agronomist;

Tatiana Pasman, 64, historian and teacher, a deputy of the Pskov City Duma, associate professor at the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines of the Pskov Regional Institute for the Advanced Training of Education Workers;

Vera Rebrova, 51, emergency medicine doctor.

The Pskov Yabloko list also comprises 13 regional groups, each made up of three people.

Among the nominated candidates are five sitting Yabloko deputies: Tatiana Pasman (Pskov City Duma), Yulia Andreyeva (Porkhov Municipal District Assembly), Alexei Gromov (Dno Municipal District Assembly), and Yevgeny Vasilyev and Alexander Konashenkov (Gdov Municipal District Assembly).

It should be noted that the party’s Federal Congress, held in Moscow on 27 June, nominated Pskov Yabloko Deputy Chairman Yana Ivanova as number three on the party’s federal list for the State Duma. Alexander Konashenkov headed the consolidated group for the Pskov, Smolensk and Kaluga Regions on Yabloko’s single list. Yevgeny Vasilyev was nominated as the Yabloko candidate for the Pskov constituency in the State Duma elections.

Candidates from the Pskov regional branch Alexei Kanishchev, Dmitry Shemetov, Vera Rebrova, Savely Mager, Yulia Andreyeva, Roman Lavrentyev and Yekaterina Nikitina were included in other regional groups on Yabloko’s federal list.
