Moscow Yabloko invites everyone to join the Yabloko Run through Moscow

The Moscow branch of Yabloko has announced the Yabloko Run — a new format for getting together: friendly and good for everyone. The sporting event will be a collective jog through the city centre, starting from the party office on Pyatnitskaya Street.
The run will take place on 18 April at 12:00.
“We have been waiting for warm weather and the arrival of spring to tell you just this. The Yabloko Run is a new format for us — friendly and good for everyone,” Moscow Yabloko said in a statement. “We will run at a comfortable pace: 4 kilometres from the party office along the embankment and back. The forecast is +12°C, perfect running weather.”
The run will be led by Yabloko activist Anton Prikhodko, a candidate party member and experienced runner. He has competed in 10 km races (White Nights, Northern Capital, the Moscow and Kazan marathons, and the Moscow Half Marathon), as well as trail distances of 20+ km.
The organisers note that everyone is welcome to take part, regardless of age or fitness level. Tea and warm company will be on offer for all participants at the end of the event.
