The Yabloko party is announcing the relaunch of the Yabloko Party University, an open lecture platform inspired by European traditions of political education and the free exchange of ideas.

Following the relaunch, the University offers six core departments: economics and social policies; sociology and political science; journalism; cinema and literature; ecology and environmental protection; and natural sciences. Academic leads,  recognised experts in their respective field, have been appointed for each department.

Over the University’s decades of operation, hundreds of lectures have been delivered by leading specialists in politics, economics, and social development. The University was founded and led throughout its existence by Galina Mikhaleva (1957–2025), Professor at the Russian State University for the Humanities and Doctor of Political Sciences.

In its updated format, the University is expanding its educational offering: new departments will be introduced alongside a variety of learning formats. In some departments, it will be possible to complete full courses and receive a certificate; in others, lectures will continue in both offline and online formats.
