Yabloko Federal Political Committee head Grigory Yavlinsky and Moscow Yabloko Chairman Kirill Goncharov brought flowers to Boris Nemtsov’s grave at the Troekurovskoye Cemetery in Moscow.
“Every year since the murder, for the past eleven years, we come here not only to remember Boris Nemtsov, but also to say: we believe that killing people is wrong. Seems trivial, right? But with each passing year, it becomes more relevant. The more people believe that nothing is more important than human life, the more people make this the principle of their lives, the sooner our country and the entire world will come to this. There is no alternative to this path; the only question is how long it will take,” Rybakov said.
Politician Boris Nemtsov, a sharp critic of President Vladimir Putin’s policies, was killed on the Bolshoi Moskvoretsky Bridge near the Kremlin with multiple shots to the back on February 27, 2015. The mastermind behind the attack has never been identified.
