Frank and honest public discourse on politics is rare today. It is difficult to speak about politics in times of chaos, and, moreover, it is dangerous: the risks of falling victim to repression, up to and including imprisonment or a staged “accident,” is very real.
In such circumstances, communication free from cunning, deception, and duplicity — grounded in political experience and an understanding of what lies ahead — is especially necessary. All the more so given the influence of artificial intelligence and social media on public consciousness.
Frank political discussion, conducted calmly and honestly, guided by the conviction that human life, freedom, and dignity are the highest values, will help people understand what is happening and find a path towards a normal future.
