Anatoly Kivva re-elected as deputy of the Zaboryevsky settlement of the Ryazan region from Yabloko for a second term
Press Release, 08.09.2024
Based on the results of the vote count at all five polling stations of the Zaboryevsky rural settlement in the Ryazan region, lawyer Anatoly Kivva was re-elected as a deputy from the Yabloko party for a second term. He came second in the 12-mandate district, which included all 15 settlements.
In 2020, deputy Kivva revealed that the head of the settlement administration had received a salary increase based on a forged decision of the deputies. In 2023, he protested the retroactive salary increase for administration employees. He revealed the illegal use of a municipal tractor by a private individual. Kivva achieved the cancellation of a decision which imposed a housing and utilities management company on residents of apartment blocks who opposed this decision. Kivva is currently working on a final legal solution to this issue. He spoke out against the transfer of green areas of the village of Zaborye for development. Kivva, as noted in the Ryazan Yabloko, according to the position of the regional branch of the party, voted against representatives of the ruling United Russia party when electing the governing bodies of the Council, draft budgets and approving the report of the head of the administration.
Zaboryevskoye rural settlement is the largest suburb of Ryazan.
