Yabloko will once again conduct actions of writing letters to political prisoners. The participants in the events learn from letters of political prisoners that such letters and words of support are very much needed by those who has been deprived of freedom and is under pressure from repressive authorities.

They turned off the heating,

Spring has come even to prison,

but I want

for February to end.

There are a lot of us here, we will sit,

wait, endure, we will go out,

we can’t be broken!

Put the kettle on, wait for us,

Soon this obscurantism

will definitely end!

This touching letter to Yabloko members from Barnaul was written by volunteer Nadine Geisler (Nadezhda Rossinskaya), who is serving a sentence in a Belgorod pre-trial detention centre.

We invite everyone who is not indifferent to the plight of those unjustly deprived of their freedom to join our actions. If you are unable to come to the party office, send letters to political prisoners yourself using our instructions.
