Yabloko will send special postcards to women in prison timed to International Women’s Day

At the end of February and beginning of March, actions in support of political prisoners will be held in Moscow and regional offices of the party, timed to coincide with International Women’s Day (8 March). The postcards will contain works sent to Yabloko as part of the announced contest of drawings. In total, we received 106 works from different cities of Russia.
Yabloko invites all Russian citizens who are not indifferent to the fate of those unjustly deprived of their freedom to join the action of writing letters to political prisoners.
If one cannot to come to one of Yabloko offices, he/she can send letters to political prisoners from home using our instructions (https://www.yabloko.ru/pisma-politzekam ).
Here are the dates of the actions in the regional branches of Yabloko:
FEBRUARY 21, WEDNESDAY:
The action will be held in Arkhangelsk.
FEBRUARY 23, FRIDAY:
The events will take place in Kazan and Smolensk.
FEBRUARY 24, SATURDAY:
The actions will be held in Kemerovo and Novosibirsk.
FEBRUARY 25, SUNDAY:
The action will be conducted in Saratov.
FEBRUARY 26, MONDAY:
The action will be held in Pskov.
FEBRUARY 27, TUESDAY:
The action will be conducted in Ryazan.
FEBRUARY 28, WEDNESDAY:
The events will take place in Velikiye Luki, Vladivostok, and Krasnoyarsk.
FEBRUARY 29, THURSDAY:
The actions will be conducted in Veliky Novgorod, Voronezh, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Stavropol, and Tomsk.
MARCH 1, FRIDAY:
The action will be held in Barnaul and Chelyabinsk.

It should be noted that in several cities, rallies in support of political prisoners will be held without public announcement due to possible police pressure on participants and organisers.

Yabloko also warns all the participants that video recording and photography will be carried out at the events and participants should be aware that by taking part in the event, they agree that photographs and videos of participation may be published in the public domain (Yabloko website, Youtube, social networks, etc.).
