The Yabloko faction of the Legislative Assembly of Karelia has made 20 amendments to the draft budget of Karelia for 2024. This was reported by Emilia Slabunova, head of the Yabloko faction in the Legislative Assembly of the Republic of Karelia.
The Yabloko faction of the Karelian parliament proposed to increase funding for healthcare, housing and utilities, resettlement from shabby housing and provision of water to residents
The amendments envisage that the expenditure part should be raised at the expense of the reserve fund of the Government of the Republic of Karelia, or at the expense of the funds reserved for co-financing from the Republic of Karelia within the framework of federal (national) projects and programmes.
The amendments will be considered at the Committee on Budget and Taxes on 6 December and at the plenary meeting of the Legislative Assembly of the Republic on 7 December.
