The Electoral Commission of Yekaterinburg certified the lists of Yabloko candidates in the elections to the City Duma of Yekaterinburg

On 19 July, the Leninsky District Territorial Electoral Commission of Yekaterinburg unanimously certified Yabloko’s nomination of candidates for deputies of the Yekaterinburg City Duma.
Thus, Yabloko’s participation in the elections both in the form a single citywide list of candidates, consisting of 19 supporters and members of the party, and 25 candidates from majoritarian districts, was confirmed.
After the list was certified, Yabloko received the right to open an electoral account and can now start a full-fledged election campaign under the slogan “For Peace and Freedom!”.
It should be noted that the top three Yabloko candidates from the citywide list include Professor Konstantin Kiselyov, the current deputy of the City Duma, Polina Bereskina, coordinator of the youth branch of the party in the Sverdlovsk region, and Gray Boltachev, a leading researcher of the Institute of Electrophysics of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Elections will be held on September 9-10, 2023.
