Yabloko supports the statement of Boris Titov, the leader of the Party of Growth, on the need for a ceasefire and is ready to join forces to achieve this, Yabloko Chairman Nikolai Rybakov wrote on his Telegram channel.

“We regard this statement in the current conditions in the country as a manifestation of courage and wisdom. Yabloko is ready to join forces in order to achieve an early conclusion of a ceasefire agreement between Russia and Ukraine.

An immediate ceasefire is the only solution that will immediately save lives and stop the bloodshed. This will be the first step towards hope for a normal future,” Nikolai Rybakov noted.

Boris Titov spoke about the need to conclude a ceasefire agreement at today’s press conference in TASS, answering a question from journalists about the attitude towards the special operation in Ukraine.

“To return to the negotiating table as soon as possible, it is necessary to reach a settlement as soon as possible. Today it should be a ceasefire,” FederalPress quoted Titov as saying.

In his comment, the leader of the Party of Growth referred in particular to the position of the founder of Yabloko Grigory Yavlinsky. “Many politicians have spoken about this, in particular, the leader of the Yabloko party, Grigory Yavlinsky. Also international politicians, including Henry Kissinger, spoke about it, this is the opinion of the presidents of many countries of the world. I think the whole world should move towards this,” Titov explained his point of view.
