In Moscow, 500,000 voters voted remotely electronically – approximately 7% of all voters – just in the first 2.5 hours of municipal elections voting.
“In just over two hours, almost half a million people voted in the Russian capital. By e-voting, of course. Indeed, there is nothing more important for a Muscovite at 8 a.m. than to voluntarily vote for his/her favorite candidate. I think that’s all you need to know about these elections,” Maxim Kruglov, leader of the Yabloko faction in the Moscow City Duma and head of the campaign headquarters in Moscow, commented.
In the Pskov region, 4,836 voters (40.71% out of 11,848 voters registered at the remote electronic voting) received electronic ballots, and 4,695 voters (39.53%) voted for first 2.5 hours of remote electronic voting in the elections of deputies of the Pskov City Duma.

“Those voting electronically seem to have a fantastic electoral appetite and started voting on the first day of voting even before breakfast. “I can’t even eat, so much I want to vote.” There are 161,764 voters in Pskov. The fate of the elections, I hope, will be decided by 149,916 voters who reserved the right to vote at the polling stations in person on 11 September,” Lev Shlosberg, leader of the Pskov Yabloko, said.
The Yabloko party urges voters to come to the polls on the last day of the three day voting period, on 11 September, and not to participate in remote electronic voting. The list of our candidates is published on the Yabloko website.
