Lyubov Zhiltsova, teacher and Yabloko deputy of the Palkinsky District Assembly in the Pskov Region, was fined 30,000 roubles for “discrediting the army” for a photo with the words “No ** ***!”
The police drew up a protocol of offense against Lyubov Zhiltsova for her photo at the school board with a sheet of paper with the inscription “No ** ***!”, which she published on her VKontakte social media page on 25 February.
It should be noted that on 17 May, the Pechorsky District Court dismissed the case due to the absence of corpus delicti, however, the Palkinsky police department appealed this decision and in June the Pskov Regional Court overturned this decision and sent the case back for a new trial in the new composition of the court.
Since 1992, Lyubov Zhiltsova has been working as a teacher of mathematics and computer science at the Kharlapkovskaya school in the Palkinsky district.
From 2010 to 2015 she was a deputy of the Palkinskaya volost (area) from Yabloko.
From October 2015 to October 2016, she worked as a deputy of the Pskov Regional Assembly from Yabloko (by the decision of the Bureau of the Pskov Yabloko, she was given a mandate after Lev Shlosberg was deprived of his deputy mandate).
From 2017 up to the present, she has been a deputy of the Assembly of Deputies of the Palkinsky District. Lyubov Zhiltsova is a member of the Yabloko party.
