According to data as of 8 am MSK, YABLOKO obtained 180 mandates in 51 municipal councils in Moscow in the elections of 10 September. In the Gagarinsky district, where President Putin voted, all 12 members of the council are now representatives of YABLOKO. In five other districts YABLOKO has a majority.

“The success in many Moscow districts results from join efforts: the confidence of active Muscovites and the active work of candidates. For us, this is a very important signal in Grigory Yavlinsky unfolding presidential campaign,” Nikolai Rybakov, head of the YABLOKO United Electoral Heaquarters and Deputy Chair of the party, said commenting on the election results.

In six districts of Moscow, YABLOKO received the majority of deputy mandates. In the Gagarinsky district the party has 12 seats out of total 12 seats; in Yakimanka – 9 seats out of 10, in Tverskoi – 10 out of 12, in Troparevo-Nikulino 8 out of 10, in Khamovniki – 10 out of 15, and in Lomonosovsky 7 out of 10.

In the following districts YABLOKO’s teams managed to get six deputies’ mandates in each of the municipal councils in the disticts of Airport, Dorogomilovo and in Konkovo; five mandates in each of the districts of Pokrovsky-Streshnevo, Filevsky Park, Marina Roscha, Sokol and Academichesky; four mandates in each of the districts Alekseevsky, Arbat, Basmanny, Zamoskvorechye, Izmailovo, Preobrazhensky, Ramenki, Timiryazevsky, Khoroshevsky; three mandates in each of the districts Begovoi, Kuntsevo, Levoberezhny, Meshchansky, Severnoye Tushino and Khovrino; two mandates in each of the districts Golovinsky, Danilovsky, Donskoy, Zyuzino, Prospect Vernadsky, Tagansky, Khoroshevo-Mnevniky and in Cheryomushky.

And also one deputy was elected in each of the following districts: Babushkinsky, Bogorodskoye, Butyrsky, Voykovsky, Losinoostrovsky, Mitino, Mozhaisky, Ostankinsky, Otradnoye, Presnensky, Savelovsky Sviblovo, Severnoye Izmaylovo and Strogino.

In addition, YABLOKO candidates on the party lists overcame a five per cent threashold in the Pskov region, the Moscow region and the Sakhalin region. Candidates from the party won in the constituencies in the elections in the Krasnodar Territory, the Moscow region, the Pskov and the Vologda regions. Read more about this here
