“With your support I will be able to withstand”. About a thousand people came to rally in support of Evgenia Sukhorukova

Residents of Petrozavodsk came to a rally in support of Evgenia Sukhorukova today with the slogans “A sentence to Sukhorukova is a sentence o the whole of Karelia!” , “Evigenia, we are with you!” “[Governor] Khudilainen to dismissal!” Despite Saturday and bad weather about a thousand people came to express their civil position. The participants of the rally consider the sentence to Evgenia Sukhorukova unfair. All those who are against political reprisals in Karelia came to the rally.
“Many thanks to all of you that you came to support me in spite of the rain. I need your support very much,” Evgenia Sukhorukova told the rally. “With your support I feel strength and confidence, I did not make anything unlawful. Thank you for your care and your compassion, knowing it I will be able to withstand. I am running out of words. Hugging all of you.”
