Tomsk Regional Court removes Yabloko’s list from Legislative Duma elections

Today, 11 September, the Tomsk Regional Court granted the LDPR’s claim and annulled the registration of Yabloko’s list for the elections of deputies to the Tomsk Region Legislative Duma.
The LDPR’s claim was built on almost the same allegations previously levelled at the party’s federal list: the distribution of campaign materials via restricted-access resources, alleged violations of intellectual property legislation, and campaign funding.
The ruling will be appealed.
Seven Yabloko candidates in single-mandate constituencies continue to take part in the elections in the Tomsk Region: Tatyana Sorochinskaya (Constituency No. 1), Yevgeny Kaverzin (No. 4), Ivan Andreyev (No. 5), Vasily Yeryomin (No. 8), Vladimir Brodsky (No. 10), Tatyana Zhurova (No. 11), and Marina Khasanova (No. 19).
In addition, the party’s candidates continue to take part in the legislative assembly elections in six other regions: in the Novgorod Region — the list and 12 single-mandate candidates; in St Petersburg — 13 single-mandate candidates; in Karelia — 12 single-mandate candidates; in the Sverdlovsk Region — 18 single-mandate candidates; in the Pskov Region — 10 single-mandate candidates; in the Kaliningrad Region — 2 single-mandate candidates.
