The Pskov branch of Yabloko participates in all the December elections in the Pechora and Sebezh districts of the region

Nominees of Yabloko participate in by-elections to the Assembly of Deputies of the Pechora region, in the repeat elections of deputies to the Assembly of the urban settlement Pechora and in the postponed elections to the Assembly of the rural settlement Sebezhskoye.

On 6 December, 2020, by-elections, as well as repeat and postponed elections will be held in the Pskov region: a deputy of the Assembly of Deputies of the Pechora region in district No. 1 is elected due to the early resignation of the current deputy; a deputy of the Assembly of deputies of the urban settlement Pechora in district No. 6 has to be elected because there was only one candidate in the September 13 elections and, according to the law, there a vote against a candidate was introduced, and the number of votes against the candidate turned out to be higher than the number of votes for the candidate.

In the Sebezhsky district, only two candidates remained running before the elections of deputies of the rural settlement Sebezhskoye in the two-mandate constituency No. 3, and according to the law, the elections were postponed for additional nomination of candidates.

Konstantin Aleksandrov, a candidate for the Assembly of Deputies of the Pechora District of the sixth convocation in single-mandate constituency No. 1, was born in Kursk on 20 June, 1980. Studied at the St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University, where he got a diploma of engineer in electronics, and also studied at the St. Petersburg branch of the National Research University Higher School of Economics majoring in banking and finance. He worked in many construction companies, where he held positions from manager to CEO. Now he lives with his wife and daughter in the village of Molochkovo of the Pechora district.

Victor Kiyashchenko, candidate for the Assembly of Deputies of the urban settlement Pechora of the second convocation in electoral district No. 6, was born in Pskov on 18 August, 2000. In 2018 he entered the Pskov State University, the Faculty of Law. Member of the trade union committee and the Student government. Studied at a volunteer school. Member of the Yabloko party, member of the Youth Election Commission of the Pskov Region with a decisive vote from Yabloko, 2018-2020. Assistant to Lev Shlosberg, deputy of the Pskov Regional Assembly of Deputies from Yabloko. Lives in Pechory.

Entrepreneur Alexei Plyavin and economist-manager Alexander Sokolov are running in the postponed elections to the Assembly of Deputies of the rural settlement Sebezhskoye of the third convocation in the two-mandate constituency No. 3 from the Pskov branch of Yabloko.

 

Alexei Plyavin was born in the village of Borok in the Nekouz District of the Yaroslavl Region on 12 July, 1984. He graduated from the Yaroslavl branch of the Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics with qualification “Informatics-Economist” with a degree in “Applied Informatics (in Economics)”. He worked in the field of online advertising, was engaged in the development of websites. Since 2017 he has been working as self-employed entrepreneur. Since 2013 he has been living in the Sebezhsky district. He is married and has three children.

 

Alexander Sokolov was born in the city of Leningrad on 26 January, 1981. He graduated from the St. Petersburg Tourism College with a degree “Food Technologist”, later graduated from the St. Petersburg University of Engineering and Economics with honors with qualification “Economist-Manager” (“Economics and management at the enterprise (transport)”). Since 2006 he has been working in the field of transport logistics. Since 2016 he has been living in Sebezhsky district with his wife and three children.

 

Five parties (United Russia, LDPR, A Just Russia, Party of Growth and Yabloko) nominated one candidate per party for by-elections to the Assembly of Deputies of the Pechora Region of the sixth convocation.

 

Four candidates were nominated for the repeat elections to the Assembly of the urban settlement Pechora in constituency No. 6: one each from United Russia, A Just Russia, Party of Growth and Yabloko.

 

Eight candidates were nominated for the postponed elections to the Assembly of Deputies of the Sebezhskoye rural settlement in two-mandate constituency No. 3: two from United Russia, two from Yabloko, two self-nominated candidates, one from LDEPR and one from A Just Russia.

 

The Pskov branch of Yabloko announced a separate fundraising for these election campaigns.
