Pro-government activists picketed YABLOKO’s office demanding that Sergei Mitrokhin should remove his candidature from the elections

Pro-government activists picketed YABLOKO’s office. First they stood in front of the main entrance, but the police asked them to move to the pavement where the picket was authorized. The pavement is very narrow in this place and it’s difficult to dispart even for 2 people. The authorities never allow YABLOKO to conduct pickets in the places which are three times broader than this one.

Entrepreneurs to create an expert council on small businesses under the YABLOKO party

The participants noted that the business environment considerably deteriorated in Moscow after the Acting Mayor Sergei Sobyanin came into power in the Russian capital, moreover entrepreneurs have no possibility to defend themselves. It was proposed during the meeting to revive on YABLOKO’s basis the previously disbanded Public Expert Council for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses under the Mayor and the Moscow Government.

Sergei Mitrokhin: YABLOKO has always had problems with PR

On July 17, 2013, YABLOKO’s Chair Sergei Mitrokhin made a complaint to the Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service in the Altay Republic about the attempt of the State Assembly of the Altai Republic – El Kurultai – to buy three cars for their needs via a tender. They were going to buy two Toyota Camry and one Toyota Highlander at total price of 3 million 859 thousand roubles (about 95,000 Euro). Read more »
