Pro-government activists picketed YABLOKO’s office. First they stood in front of the main entrance, but the police asked them to move to the pavement where the picket was authorized. The pavement is very narrow in this place and it’s difficult to dispart even for 2 people. The authorities never allow YABLOKO to conduct pickets in the places which are three times broader than this one.

The Klimovsk City Court has annulled the decision of the electoral commission to register YABLOKO’s candidate for the head of the Klimovsk city, Moscow Region. YABLOKO nominated Alexander Gunko, leader of the Moscow Region branch of YABLOKO, to run in the election. On July 26, Sergei Mitrokhin, candidate for the Mayor of Moscow and Chair of the YABLOKO party, held a meeting with entrepreneurs representing small businesses. The participants noted that the business environment considerably deteriorated in Moscow after the Acting Mayor Sergei Sobyanin came into power in the Russian capital, moreover entrepreneurs have no possibility to defend themselves. It was proposed during the meeting to revive on YABLOKO’s basis the previously disbanded Public Expert Council for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses under the Mayor and the Moscow Government.

On July 17, 2013, YABLOKO’s Chair Sergei Mitrokhin made a complaint to the Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service in the Altay Republic about the attempt of the State Assembly of the Altai Republic – El Kurultai – to buy three cars for their needs via a tender. They were going to buy two Toyota Camry and one Toyota Highlander at total price of 3 million 859 thousand roubles (about 95,000 Euro). Read more »

On Saturday night, Nikolai Kuznetsov, leader of the Stupino branch of YABLOKO and activist of the head-quarters of YABLOKO’s candidate to the post of the Governor of the Moscow region, was severely beaten in Odintsovo, the Moscow region.
