A war with a fraternal nation is inadmissible.

The YABLOKO party condemns the decisions of the President of Russia and the Federation Council unleashing a war with a fraternal nation. Such developments will lead Russia to a national catastrophe and put the world on the brink of a nuclear war.
But even if Vladimir Putin has no intention to actually bring troops to Ukraine, these solutions will nevertheless lead to a sharp escalation of the conflict, including in the regions these decisions are allegedly aiming to “protect” in such a way, rather than stabilisation of the situation in Ukraine. Those unleashing a war will be damned forever

The YABLOKO party is categorically against the steps undertaken by Russia’s leadership targeted at unleashing a war with Ukraine.
A war between Russia and Ukraine in any form and of any scope is unacceptable and inadmissible.
Such a war will be a crime of a historic scope. Neither disputes over the territory of the Crimea nor the fate of the military bases of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, nor any other “reasons” can be an excuse for a fratricidal war with many thousands of deaths and countless victims. Read more »

YABLOKO’s activists participated in international action “Free Evgeny Vitishko!”

Activists of Amnesty International, Ecooborona and YABLOKO expressed protest against the sentence to Evgeny Vitishko.
The international action “Free Evgeny Vitishko!” began on February 28. Rallies, pickets and flash mobs will take place in different cities of the world over a period of seven days. The goal of the action is to attract the attention to the enormously unjust sentence – three years in colony for environment protection.
