Now I’m quite certain that I will participate in the Moscow City Duma elections as YABLOKO’s candidate. Why YABLOKO’s candidate? Because it’s the only registered democratic party which successively opposes the present regime and doesn’t make overtures to nationalism. Tomorrow the State Duma will conduct the first reading of an amendment to the Constitution which will become already a second amendment adopted this year. President will get the right to arbitrarily, without any explanation, appoint ten per cent of the Federation Council members. Read more »
