Today Cyprus refused to extradite Nekrasov to Russia and took a decision to return him to Vilnus. Read more »

It has been already a month since journalist Andrei Nekrasov is imprisoned.
On July 15, oppositional blogger and journalist from Udmurtia was put in prison in Nicosia, Cyprus, in connection with Russia’s request on his extradition. Nekrasov is well-known in Udmurtia for his investigations of corrupt practices of the regional bureaucracy and functionaries from the ruling party. Read more »

Farm of YABLOKO candidate to Legislative Assembly of Novosibirsk region burnt down

The farm of Valeri Turkov, YABLOKO candidate to the Legislative Assmeby of the Novosibirsk region, was burnt down in the Novosibirsk region on August 2. The owner suspects that it was a planned arson. YABLOKO doesn’t exclude the possibility of political persecution. However, the results of expert examination aren’t ready yet.

Probably, many people understand that the Vladimir Putin’s seizure of Crimea which launched a war against Ukraine, where a plane shot down by Putinistas was a terrible episode, is a crime even under the Russian law. Youth YABLOKO demands to investigate the murder of Timur Kuashev
