Nikolai Rybakov, head of the Yabloko election headquarters and Deputy Chairman of the Yabloko party, met with Ella Pamfilova, Chair of the Central Electoral Commission, and handed her an appeal on the fraud in municipal elections in St. Petersburg.
Yabloko conducted two election campaigns in the Sverdlovsk region. Irina Skachkova, Deputy Chair of the regional branch of the party, ran for the State Duma in Serov single-mandate constituency No. 174, and Dmitry Golovin ran for the Legislative Assembly of the Sverdlovsk region in Ordzhonikidze single-mandate constituency No. 11.
The single voting day of September 8 was successful for the Yabloko party. The party was able to double the number of deputies in regional parliaments, and the number of regions where the party is represented in the legislative assemblies increased from three to five.
In addition, candidates from Yabloko were elected heads of three districts in the Pskov Region, and 26 candidates became municipal deputies in nine Russian regions.
Three candidates from the Yabloko party were elected heads of municipals districts Dnovsky, Novorzhevsky and Pustoshkinsky in the Pskov Region in elections on 8 September: Sofya Pugacheva (Novorzhevsky district, 45.95% of the vote at a turnout of 52.53%), Svetlana Vasilkova (Pustoshkinsky district, 53.35% of the vote, the opponent from United Russia got 36.58%, at a turnout of 49.46%) and Mikhail Shaurkin (Dnovsky district, 63.75% of the vote, he won in all (!) the polling stations over the candidate from United Russia who got 23.07%, at a turnout of 44.88%).
The Yabloko party demanded that the Central Electoral Commission, the Investigative Committee and the Prosecutor General’s Office prevent the rigging of the results of the municipal elections in St. Petersburg
The relevant appeals to the heads of departments were sent by the party Chair Emilia Slabunova.
Arthur Gaiduk, ambulance doctor and deputy of the Pskov City Duma, has won by-elections to the Pskov Regional Assembly of Deputies (the regional parliament) in single-mandate constituency No. 2, receiving over 40% of the vote. He left behind Igor Maximov, former vice-governor and candidate from the ruling United Russia party, who got 32% of votes.
Electoral commissions of the municipalities of St. Petersburg, where Yabloko candidates won, refuse to draw up the election results. This situation is observed in the vast majority of electoral commissions of the Central District (Liteiny, Smolninsky and Vladimirsky), where Yabloko has received up to 80% of the mandates.

Viktor Fedoreyev, engineer, who won the elections to the Legislative Duma of the Khabarovsk Territory (a regional parliament) in the Amur single-mandate constituency, became the sixth regional deputy elected from Yabloko on a single voting day of September 8.
According to preliminary data, all four Yabloko candidates to the Moscow City Duma won in their constituencies. This means that a new Moscow City Duma may see a faction, which will include Sergei Mitrokhin, Yevgeny Bunimovich, Maxim Kruglov and Daria Besedina. This will be the largest fraction in the entire history of the Yabloko participation in the Moscow City Duma elections.

Yabloko Chairperson Emilia Slabunova is on visit in Novgorod, north-west Russia, to support 76 party candidates in elections at different levels that are taking place in the region.
Nikolai Rybakov, head of the Yabloko election headquarters, forwarded appeals to Oleg Baranov, head of the Moscow Interior, and Ella Pamfilova, head of the Central Electoral Commission, demanding that they take under personal control the checks on Yabloko’s complaints about unprecedented violations during the Moscow City Duma’s election in electoral district No. 6 of Moscow (Khovrino, Golovinsky, Levoberezhniy and Western Degunino).
The Investigative Committee has stopped the criminal prosecution of Yabloko activist Valery Kostenok and four other defendants accused of participation in the “riots” in Moscow on 27 July.
As follows from the message on the website of the Investigative Committee, “the decision was made by the investigators based on the results of an objective legal assessment of all the materials studied, including video recordings of surveillance cameras”.
