A lot of people are now asking me about our further plans. What is YABLOKO going to do? Here is the answer.

The main thing for us at the moment is to strengthen our regional branches, our party development. We will admit new people into the party, those who cooperated with us at this election, involve YABLOKO supporters in the work – both those who want to join the party and those who do not want to do so but are ready to cooperate.

The second important orientation of our policy is preparation for elections: presidential election as well as regional and municipal. It is vital to us to get the grass-roots support and strengthen our position at these two levels.

In my opinion, another important area is legislative drafting activity at the regional and municipal levels with the help of our deputies. Moreover, we [are going to use] the large package of bills, which we have prepared for the parliamentary elections.

We are ready to become a uniting platform for all democratic forces, so, it is one more area of our activities. I mean not so much political parties as public orgnisations. Some of them already cooperate with us. Five per cent of our nominees at this election head environmental, human rights, child protection, urban development, and cultural non-profit orgnisations. We need to unite all people who adhere to the principles of democracy and stand for freedom of our society and country.

In the conditions of political discussions deficit its initiation will become an important orientation of policy. We are ready to initiate such discussions and provide a platform for them. I can not help but mention the importance of activity in social networks.

We are going to implement our party’s projects on community outreach.

We also need to develop and implement a special plan to show our activity and remain in the media space.

Another important task is what I theoretically call “the faces of the party”. We need to implement this project in order to have a team of candidates so that voters would know that our nominees are real professionals, that they have public and political experience, that they have a strong personality and leadership qualities.

Another area of activity represents a vital issue for us. It is fundraising.

Summing up, I want to answer the question which people ask me very often: will any reform of the party take place? Our party does not need a reform, but we need to renovate the forms and contents of our activities constantly.

Of course, the issues are going to be discussed within the party, but this is how I see our further steps.
