Decision by Yabloko’s Federal Political Committee, 15.09.2026

In connection with the arguments that have been circulating in recent days about the possibility of supporting some other political party, or candidates put forward by other parties, in the elections, the Federal Political Committee states that such a position is unacceptable for the Yabloko party.

Supporting any of the ten political parties remaining on the ballot papers following the removal of Yabloko’s list [from the State Duma elections], or supporting the candidates they have put forward in single-mandate constituencies, means supporting current policies and voting for their continuation.

The Federal Political Committee is convinced that, under present circumstances, only one politically and ethically sound course of action remains for participating in these elections:

— by party lists – not to vote for any party;
— by single-mandate constituencies – to vote for Yabloko candidates in those constituencies where they remain, and, where none remain, not to vote for any of the candidates put forward by other parties.

This is the only way, in the upcoming elections, to express support for the position of peace and freedom, for a life without fear, for a ceasefire agreement, diplomacy and the achievement of peace, and for the preservation of life, and for human respect, dignity and wellbeing.

This is the only way, in the upcoming elections, to support the prevention of nuclear war and the building of a prosperous, democratic Russia.
