Lists of Yabloko candidates for parliaments in nine regions published

Yabloko has now put forward candidates for the legislative assemblies in nine regions. At the end of past week, regional conferences of party branches put forward candidates in the Moscow and Novgorod Regions, and, a little earlier, in the Tambov Region and the Altai Territory. Candidate lists for the regional parliaments of St.Petersburg, the Leningrad Region, Karelia, and the Sverdlovsk and Kaliningrad Regions were also put forward at the Party Congress in late June.

We publish the names of the party’s list leaders standing for seats in the regional Dumas and Legislative Assemblies.

 

MOSCOW REGION:

 

The Yabloko regional list includes four candidates with lead candidiate Sergei Kryzhov, 71, Candidate of Technical Sciences, President of the Interregional Fund “Association of Human Rights Commissioners”, Chair of the Moscow Regional Branch of Yabloko.

 

A further 16 people have been put forward as part of territorial groups, and another five under single-mandate constituencies.

 

NOVGOROD REGION:

 

The Yabloko regional list includes six candidates with lead candidiate Anna Cherepanova, economist, Deputy Chair of Yabloko.

 

TAMBOV REGION:

 

Yabloko’s regional list of candidates for the Tambov Regional Duma under the single electoral district comprises 16 people.

 

The region-wide section is headed by the branch’s Chair, Yana Zenkina, 32, quality controller at OOO Metal Service, and Chair of Tambov Yabloko.

 

ST.PETERSBURG:

 

Yabloko’s regional list of candidates for St.Petersburg includes four candidates with lead candidate Dmitry Anisimov, 35, MP of the St Petersburg Legislative Assembly, Deputy Chair of St Petersburg Yabloko, and Candidate of Political Sciences.

 

A further 62 candidates have joined the 25 regional groups, and 25 candidates have been put forward under single-mandate constituencies.

 

LENINGRAD REGION:

 

Yabloko’s list of candidates for the Leningrad Regional Legislative Assembly is headed by Grigory Grishin, 45, Candidate of Philological Sciences, teacher of Russian language and literature, documentary filmmaker, and a Yabloko member.

 

A further 19 candidates have been put forward as part of 19 regional groups.

 

REPUBLIC OF KARELIA:

 

Yabloko’s regional list of candidates for Karelia includes three candidates with lead candidate Inna Boluchevskaya, 54, Deputy Chair of the Committee for Healthcare and Social Policy of the Karelian Legislative Assembly, and a Yablpoko party member.

 

In addition, 15 candidates on the unified list are standing as part of regional groups, and a further 15 candidates under single-mandate constituencies.

 

SVERDLOVSK REGION:

 

Yabloko’s regional list of candidates for the Sverdlovsk region includes three candidates with lead candidate Konstantin Kiselyov, 63, lawyer, and Yabloko deputy of the Yekaterinburg City Duma.

 

A further 68 candidates have been put forward as part of 25 regional groups, and 23 candidates under single-mandate constituencies.

 

KALININGRAD REGION:

 

Yabloko’s regional list of candidates for the Kaliningrad region includes three candidates with lead candidate Ivan Bolshakov, 41, Head of the party’s Analytical Centre, and a member of Yabloko’s Federal Political Committee.

 

A further 36 candidates have been put forward as part of 11 regional groups, and three candidates under single-mandate constituencies.

 

ALTAI TERRITORY:

 

The District Electoral Commission has already registered the party’s candidate for deputy of the Altai Krai Legislative Assembly in single-mandate constituency No. 29. He is Pavel Kalashnik, 22, self-employed and a member of Altai Yabloko.
