Boris Nemtsov was killed on the Moskvoretsky Bridge, by the walls of the Kremlin, on 27 February, 2015. A makeshift memorial of flowers, candles, memorial texts and portraits of the politician brought by people spontaneously appeared at the site of the murder and has existed for ten years.
