Yabloko candidates participate in 56 election campaigns in 27 regions

This year, in addition to the State Duma elections, Yabloko candidates are participating in 56 election campaigns at the regional and municipal levels in 27 regions of the Russian Federation.
975 candidates from Yabloko were registered: 654 on party lists, and 321 in single-mandate constituencies. Many of the Yabloko candidates were not admitted to the elections for political reasons.

The Second Court of Appeal overturned the decision of the Chelyabinsk Regional Court on the registration of Yabloko’s candidate Valentina Komkova for the State Duma elections in Zlatoust Electoral District No. 193. The Chelyabinsk branch of Yabloko plans to prepare a cassation appeal, which will be considered before the elections.

The long-awaited meeting with Olga Vshivkova, the head of the “Kungur – the Territory of Goodness” charitable foundation, last year she became a deputy of the City Duma, and has been representing Yabloko there. The Foundation helps people in hardships. Here, anyone in need can get the necessary clothes for themselves or their child for free. The number of such organisations in the country has been growing. If your city has a collection point for clothes, see if there are items in your wardrobe that you can give there so that to help people. Such charitable foundations work effectively with citizens, that is why Yabloko advocates transferring part of state social powers to charitable organisations.

The Electoral Commission of the Novgorod Region recognised Ksenia Cherepanova as a candidate affiliated with a foreign agent organisation.
The organisation Ksenia Cherepanova is associated with is the Golos electoral rights movement. Before the elections, this movement was recognized a “foreign agent”. Ksenia Cherepanova was the Chair of the Novgorod branch of Golos, but due to participation in the elections, she suspended her participation in the movement.
