Yabloko Chairman Nikolai Rybakov visited Saratov on September 7, as part of his tour to Yabloko regional branches participating in regional elections on 13 September. Ksenia Sverdlova, Chair of the Yabloko branch in Saratov, will take part in the by-elections of deputies of the Saratov Regional Duma in the Volga single-mandate constituency No. 1.
The Zelenodolsk City Court removed from the municipal elections in the Osinovo town, Tatarstan, all representatives of the Dioxinovo movement who oppose the construction of an incineration plant in the settlement. On 7 September, the court removed from municipal elections 13 candidates, including Ruslan Zinatullin, leader of the Yabloko party in Tatarstan, and Yelena Izotova, Chair of the regional branch of the Green Russia faction of the Yabloko party in Tatarstan.
The Supreme Court of the Republic of Bashkortostan removed from 13 Yabloko candidates from the elections to the City Council of Neftekamsk in single-mandate constituencies. The pretext was an allegedly incomplete set of documents submitted by the Yabloko candidates to the electoral commission. The suits were filed by candidates from the ruling United Russia party and the territorial electoral commission. Cassation appeals were filed against the court decisions. Earlier, candidates from Yabloko managed to defend in the Supreme Court the Yabloko party list in the elections in the single electoral district of Neftekamsk.
“An international investigation team should be created under the auspices of one of the credible international organisations so that to investigate the poisoning of Alexei Navalny with a chemical warfare agent,” Grigory Yavlinsky, Chairman of the Yabloko Party’s Federal Political Committee, said.
On 15 September 15, an online discussion of participants in the Russian feminist movement will be held under the auspices of the Gender faction of the Yabloko party. The event will begin at 19:00.
The topics offered for the discussion are as follows: the situation with gender equality and the conservative U-turn in Russia, the tasks of the feminist movement, new forms of organisation, interaction or conflict of different generations of feminists. The recording of the meeting will be published in the Internet.
Why does no one – not a single state in the world, not a single international organisation – believe what they say in Russia about Alexei Navalny’s poisoning?
Probably because no one, except Russia, change urine probes of their athletes. Probably because only “tourists” from Russia go to admire the sights of Salisbury using forged documents and suddenly they poison someone there. Probably because it is the Russian authorities who wage hybrid and criminal wars in other countries of the world and secretly bury their citizens who died in these wars.

Pskov regional politicians discussed the formation of a reserve from the Russian security and law enforcement for Belarus and Vladimir Putin’s support for the actions of Alexander Lukashenko at the Echo of Moscow in Pskov radio station.
The opinions of the Pskov politicians traditionally divided. Some believeв that the presence of a special reserve of Russian security and law enforcement that can be sent to Belarus on the request of Alexander Lukashenko would prevent a repetition of the “Ukrainian scenario” in Belarus, as well as possible unrest on the border with Russia. Others did not support this decision of the Russian government to form a reserve and perceived it as support to dictator Alexander Lukashenko.
Lev Shlosberg, Chairman of the Pskov branch of Yabloko and MP of the Pskov Regional Assembly, said that he was categorically against any interference into the domestic affairs of Belarus. In his opinion, after the announcement of the formation of a reserve of law enforcement and security in Russia for actions on the territory of Belarus, the Belarusian society would be more radical to Russia, since for most of Belarus citizens Lukashenko was “an illegally elected and hated president”.

Nobody knows the total number of political prisoners in Belarus. It is assumed that at least 7,000 people were detained during the protests only in August 9 – 13, and about forty criminal cases were initiated. About 600 citizens of Belarus reported serious injuries as a result of beatings during detention, more than a hundred people reported severe beatings in places of temporary detention. More than 260 people were detained during the protest action on August 27 in the centre of Minsk, as follows from the data of the human rights centre Viasna.

Yabloko Chairman Nikolai Rybakov appealed to Alexander Gusev, Governor of the Voronezh Region, in connection with the illegal felling of trees in the Severny Les (the Northern Forest) forest park, the only large forest area in the Northern residential area of Voronezh. In recent months, trees were cut on the territory of the forest, and at the end of August there was a clash between local residents and unidentified persons who installed a fence around the park.
“You trust us – we work for you!” – such is the slogan of the election campaign led by the Yabloko team running in the elections of the District Council of Deputies of the city of Berezovsky, the Krasnoyarsk region. There are seven candidates on the party list, they are people of different professions and ages who are respected by their fellow citizens.
Well-known members of the Yabloko party stood surety for imprisoned journalist Ivan Safronov accused in treason. Yabloko party Chairman Nikolai Rybakov visited Kazan and Osinovo, the Republic of Tatarstan, on August 28.
During his stay in the town of Osinovo, Nikolai Rybakov first visited the construction site of an incineration plant. The decision to build this plant caused discontent among local residents and environmental activists. For several months they held protests demanding to stop the construction. But despite the actions, it was announced that the construction of the plant should be completed in 2022.
Natalya Pochinok, Rector of the Russian State Social University, had to cancel her order on the expulsion of Anton Ocheretin and Danila Petrov from the university, after the Public Prosecutor General’s Office proposed her to eliminate violations of the legislation on education. Students were expelled in April this year for trying to leave the hostel for the pharmacy. From the point of view of the management of the university, this was a gross violation of the temporary rules for living in a hostel, introduced in connection with the quarantine.
The Zheleznogorsk City Court, having considered the claim from the LDPR party against the electoral commission of the municipality, ruled to cancel the registration of the list of Yabloko in the elections to the Zheleznogorsk City Council that are due on September 13. The court agreed with the arguments of LDPR about violations allegedly committed by Yabloko in nominating candidates.
However, neither the territorial electoral commission nor the regional branch of Yabloko recognised the claims and intend to prove the case in a court of a higher instance, basing on the federal legislation and the charter of the Yabloko party. Two appeals – from the electoral commission as the administrative defendant and the Yabloko party as the interested person – were filed with the Krasnoyarsk Regional Court. The case will be heard on September 2 by the administrative board of the regional court.
