Court hearing on Evgeny Vitishko case postponed till August 4
Press Release, 16.07.2014 The court hearing on Evgeny Vitishko case was postponed till August 4 since the Tambov penal colony settlement No 2 didn’t manage to provide conference communication with Vitishko. YABLOKO leader Sergei Mitrokhin who arrived at the court hearing announced about this.

Chair of the Dagestan branch of YABLOKO detained without any reasons

YABLOKO’s mobile reception office detained by police
Press Release, 20.06.2014 Police have just arrested YABLOKO’s activists who work at the mobile reception office of the party in the Strogino district, Moscow. YABLOKO’s municipal deputy Grigory Semyonov have also been detained. The activists have been taken to a police department to give evidence.

Youth Yabloko activists detained for one-person picketing
Youth YABLOKO activists Alan Alikov from North Ossetia and Kirill Bobro from the Stavropol Region were detained by police today during one-person pickets in support of the prisoners of the Bolotnaya rally case. One-person pickets do not need any permits from the authorities, thus arrests were absolutely unlawful.

Renaming Volgograd into Stalingrad is unacceptable

Ex Chair of the Sverdlovsk branch of YABLOKO Maxim Petlin was denied parole
Press Release, 06.06.2014 The Verkh-Isetsky district court of Ekaterinburg denied parole to Ex Chair of the Sverdlovsk branch of YABLOKO Maxim Petlin. The reasons for the denial were not announced. Petlin can appeal against the decision within 10 days.
