Press Release, 9.09.2019
The Yabloko party demanded that the Central Electoral Commission, the Investigative Committee and the Prosecutor General’s Office prevent the rigging of the results of the municipal elections in St. Petersburg
The relevant appeals to the heads of departments were sent by the party Chair Emilia Slabunova.
Up to the present <…> the data of the protocols on the voting results of precinct [electoral] commissions have not been entered into the GAS Vybory system [the federal data base on voting results for all elections in Russia], although the first copies of the protocols on the voting results, as well as other election documents from precinct electoral commissions, have already been transferred to higher electoral commissions that evade tabulation of election results in districts and municipalities (Smolninskoye, Vladimirsky district, Liteiny district) due to an alleged malfunction of the GAS Vybory system, ran the statement.
All ballots for voting, protocols on the results of voting from all precinct electoral commissions in this territory were brought to one place and stored in in the basement of the administration of the Central District of St. Petersburg. The premises are neither sealed, nor protected, that is, there are all conditions for falsifying the results of voting, the party emphasised.
The Yabloko party nominated or supported 480 candidates in 153 constituencies in municipal elections in St. Petersburg.
