Yabloko leaders to meet visitors of International Book Fair at All-Russia Exhibition Centre and launch new party books

The visitors of the International Book Fair at the All-Russia Exhibition Centre that will be held on 6-10 September will have an opportunity to receive free copies of Yabloko new books and meet Yabloko leaders by the party stand.
Yabloko Deputy Chair Nikolai Rybakov will open the stand. On 6 September, from 13:30 till 15:30, he will tell about the books, which the party published this year. Then Galina Mikhaleva, professor of Russian State University for the Humanities, Chair of Yabloko’s Gender faction and editor of a number of Yabloko’s books, will continue communicating with the visitors of the fair from 16:00 till 18:30.
The next day, on 7th September, Galina Mikhaleva will launch the books dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the developments of 1917 and 80th anniversary of the Great Terror – “The 100th anniversary of the February Revolution and the goal of political modernisation in the 21st century”, “Overcoming Stalinism” and other books. She will also launch the Equality Mark almanac of the Gender faction and other publications on fighting discrimination against women and means to achieve gender equality.
On Friday, 8th September, Chair of the Moscow branch of Yabloko Sergei Mitrokhin will launch a report of Yabloko’s Anti-Corruption Policy Centre from 15:00 to 18:00.
On Saturday, 9th September, Chair of Yabloko’s Political Committee Grigory Yavlinsky will have a meeting with the visitors of the book fair. The meeting begins at 13:00. Yabloko published two collections of articles by Grigory Yavlinsky this year – “The end of epoch” containing Yavlinsky’s publications in 2013-2017 and “The main publications” – Grigory Yavlinsky’s most important articles and speeches in 2015-2017. An autograph signing session will take place after communication with the visitors – Grigory Yavlisnky will sign the books.
