YABLOKO supports the decision to dismiss Mayor of Sergiyev Posad, the Moscow Region

On December 23, 2010, the Council of Deputies of Sergyev Posad, the Moscow region, dismissed Mayor of the city Nikalai Maslov from his post. The decision was adopted by a majority of votes. Sergei Kryzhov, YABLOKO’s representative in the Council, also voted for this decision. According to Kryzhov, Maslov, who was elected Mayor about a year ago at non-alternative elections (Kryzhov was dismissed from election campaign four days before the election) conducted irresponsible policies. Such was the ruling of Vasileostrovsky District Court in St.Petersburg on May 19.
