The Decision of the Bureau of the Solidarnost party that Boris Nemtsov’s 13% at the election of the Mayor of Sochi was the best result of the democrats for the past years contradicts the facts.
Thus, Olga Kolokolova, the leader of the Perm YABLOKO, obtained 23% at the election of the Mayor of Krasnokamsk in October 2008.
Vassiliy Popov, the leader of the Karel branch of YABLOKO, obtained 29% at the elections of Petrozavodsk Mayor in October 2006.
Also in 2006 members of YABLOKO Alexandra Spiridonova got 50% at the election of Olonets Mayor and Khonik Sugyan obtained 36% at the election of the head of Begunitsky settlement of the Leningrad region. Both YABLOKO’s candidates won the election and have been holding these posts at present.
