| On July 19, 2011, the Bashkirian regional branch of the
YABLOKO party, the Committee of Civil Control of the Republic
of Bashkiria and Human Rights, Information and Culture civil
foundation will conduct a joint picket in defence of Article
19 of the Russian Constitution guaranteeing protection of
human rights in Russia.
The participants of the picket will also raise issues of
inequality, monopoly of the ruling United Russia party, violation
of housing, social and other constitutional rights of the
Russian citizens.
The activists also invited the head of the city administration
and his deputies to the picket.
The key slogans of the picket will be Lets protect our
human rights!, We demand changes!, The authorities, the
housing and utilities sector and the Administration of the
Ufa city under citizens control!.
Address: Ufa, Lenin square, in front of the city Administration
The picket will begin at 5 p.m.
