YABLOKO’s leader Sergei Mitrokhin will dispute in court the
General Plan of Moscow. “Procedural violations in development
and adoption of the Plan were considerable. We shall apply
to court as soon as the General Plan is published,” Mitrokhin
said.
The application to court when disputing a normative act should
also contain the text of the disputed act, in this case it
will be publication in the Vestinik Myera i Pravitelstava
Moskvi (News Bulletin of the Mayor and the Moscow Government”).
Mitrokhin also offered to the Moscow residents whose interests
will be affected by the Plan to apply to YABLOKO for help.
“We are expecting another wave of in-fill construction, cutting
of parks and forests. We know how to fight against this. We
shall prepare special guides how to oppose this, we shall
demand that bureaucrats should observe the law, conduct rallies
on definite sites and apply to courts,” Mitrokhin added.
