condolences to the next-of-kin, friends and colleagues of Yegor
Timurovich Gaidar.
His death is a great loss for all of us. We held different
views on many issues in politics, economy and domestic situation
in the country. However, Yegor Gaidar played a significant
and non-simple role in Russia’s history.
His death is also a loss for the academic science and academic
community. As a scholar Yegor Gaidar has made a lot for evaluation
of the changes that have been taking place in Russia’s economy
for the past 20 years and understanding what should be done
in the future.

death of Yegor Gaidar. He took up the responsibility for the
future of the country when almost nobody knew what to do.
