On the threashold of the Moscow City Duma elections that will
take place on October 11, Boris Strugatsky, a world famous
science fiction writer (Roadside Picnic, Stalker) send a letter
to the YABLOKO party with wishes of success.
“These are hard times: hard times for democracy and hard times
for YABLOKO. The rating fell, the allies were not allowed
to participate [in the election], and you can count only on
yourselves and your firm supporters. Now, we have to arm ourselves
with patience, set teeth and not to yield. Confidence and
firmness will win.
